International Office of GUtech
The International Office of the German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech) supports and implements internationalization measures of the university – from international university partnerships via individual student exchange programs and specialized courses in Germany to the marketing of the range of courses GUtech offers outside of Oman.
The cooperation between RWTH Aachen University and GUtech and the resulting projects, opportunities for students and the strengthened connection to Germany are of fundamental importance. Internally, this cooperation enriches the studies for students at GUtech in a number of ways, for example through the increased use of blended learning technologies or through the academic and cultural exchange with interns from Germany. Externally, it contributes significantly to the appeal of studies at GUtech.
The International Office supports the close partnership of both universities as a single point of contact at GUtech for intra-and inter-university as well as external inquiries, which serves to improve the communication structures and the continuity and increase of the visibility of the project results.
GUtech is a very special environment because it brings together the German and Omani culture and education systems and it is the perfect place to learn from each other…This international exchange offered a very enriching experience, not only academically but on different levels.
